Edward A. Norman House
New York, NY – Exterior and Interior Renovation

Designed by Swiss modernist William Lescaze, the exterior and interiors of this 1940s Modernist residence have largely survived intact. On the outside an earlier restoration proved ineffective and showed signs of deterioration. In the restoration damaged section were removed and rebuilt with new custom fabricated brick matching the original 1940s brick. In addition all original steel windows were restored and painted in the original color. Missing hardware was remade to match the original.

The project received the Restoration Award from the Friends of the Upper East Side in 2015.
