Candler Building
New York, NY – Exterior Preservation & Restoration

The 1912 Candler building with its 24 stories of highly ornamented white terracotta was once the tallest structure in New York City’s midtown area.  The exterior envelop was restored using matching cast stone ashlar blocks and glass fiber reinforced concrete ornamental units. The interior was completely gutted and renovated with the addition of new elevators, fire stairs, restrooms and office space.
