ECA Auditorium
Edinburgh, Scotland – Achitecture

The Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) traces its history back to 1760 when it started as a drawing school. Its main building was completed in 1907 in a classical style to the design of Scottish architects Peddie & Brown. A square internal courtyard, originally used to hold drawing classes of live animals and subsequently filled in with workshops was redesigned to hold a new multifunctional space that could serve alternatively as an art gallery, auditorium and film screening studio.
